MOVIE POSTER redesign:
gattaca
This is a minimialistic redesign of one of my favorite sci-fi movies, Gattaca.
​
A film released the year I was born. I am intrigued by the films design direction as it pairs a sci-fi plot while incorporating retrofuturism design with clothing and hairstyles from the 40's/50's.
​
Fun fact: I was raised in Walnut, CA which neighbors Cal Poly Pomona, a filming location of the movie. Jude Law and Ethan Hawke's characters home is the CLA building pictured in the lower right side of my poster.

A scrapbook photo I created for fun using three selfies of myself.
​
I printed the images and scrapbooked this piece together.
​
I ripped the images to show the texture of the paper and I also used scissors to create more deliberate shapes.
